Job Description
We are seeking a mobile development engineer to join our development team in Egypt with the
following responsibilities
- Working closely with another mobile app developer
leading the other platform development.
- Working along the web developers to create and
maintain a robust framework to support the apps.
- Working with the front end developers to build
the interface with focus on usability features.
- Create compelling device specific user interfaces
and experiences.
- Standardizing the platform and in some cases apps
to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort.
- Optimizing performance of company applications.
- Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in
the mobile technologies.
Qualifications
Successful candidate should have the following skills
- At least 1 year experience in Mobile development
(Exceptional fresh graduates are accepted).
- BSc. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or
related degree.
- Good understanding of OO programming and design
patterns.
- Good understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery,
Ajax and PHP.
- Strong OO design and programming skills in
Objective- C.
- Familiar with iOS SDK and xcode.
- Strong OO design and programming skills in Java.
- Familiar with the Android SDK.
- Knowledge of SQLite, MySQL or similar database
management system.
- Familiar with Eclipse and Android studio.
- Knowledge of cross platforms like Xamarin, Unity
3d is a big plus.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning
tools, such as Git, SVN.
- A passion for mastering new technologies.
- Ability to multi task and good time management
skills also to work on their own and as a part of the team.
- Experience on web service integration .
- Experience using 3rd parties APIs like social
media APIs and Ads integration using a 3rd party ad server.
- Excellent debugging and optimization, creative
design skills.
- Testing/ QA skills is a major plus.
- Proven commercial software development
experience.
- Ability to use analytic data and user testing to
inform design decision .
- Excellent debugging and optimization, creative
design skills.
- Published examples of mobile applications on the
App store or the Android market.
- Excellent English writing and speaking.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and
written) to liaise with various departments locally and internationally.
